Job Summary Part-Time Fitness Coach - Junior Tennis Academy Mitchell Frank Tennis Academy

• Alexandria / Northern Virginia Part-time

• Afternoons, evenings, and weekends About the role Mitchell Frank Tennis Academy is a year-round junior development program in Northern Virginia. We're looking for a part-time fitness coach to lead athletic development for players ages 8-18, from beginners in our Future Stars program to tournament-level juniors. You'll work both on and off the court: running footwork, speed, and agility work inside tennis sessions, and leading strength, mobility, and injury-prevention training outside of them. You'll work alongside our tennis coaches so the fitness program supports what players are doing on court. What you'll do Plan and run age-appropriate movement, speed, and agility sessions on court Lead off-court strength, mobility, and conditioning sessions for small groups Adapt training for different ages and levels, from 8-year-olds to competitive teens Coordinate with tennis coaches on player goals, workload, and injury prevention Keep sessions safe, organized, and fun What we're looking for Experience coaching youth fitness, athletic development, or strength and conditioning A certification such as CSCS, NASM, ACE, ISSA, or a degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field Comfortable working with kids and communicating with parents Reliable, on time, and organized CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to get certified Able to pass a background check A plus, not required Tennis background as a player or coach, or experience with racquet-sport athletes Experience with long-term athletic development (LTAD) models Familiarity with the demands of junior tournament tennis Schedule Weekday afternoons and evenings, plus weekends. $26.34 - $31.72 per hour
