Full Job Description If you're looking for a generic instructor opportunity… this is not the job application for you. Guided Fitness is something different, and dare we say BETTER? It's the opportunity to be a part of something bigger with a flexible schedule, rewarding environment, and pay, with a supportive team dedicated to creating a healthier and happier nation.
What to expect:
Fun clients and a flexible work environment. Utilizing various luxury fitness centers and community spaces while serving a diverse community of residents. Enjoy close support of the Guided Fitness core team. Initially, instructors will have a small group class schedule, which will include the opportunity to coach some private coaching if they choose to supplement their income with private clientele for a consistent and lucrative schedule. This role has the possibility of a fully private and group client schedule working within and outside of our partnered communities. We want our instructors and trainers to be successful. Period. The ideal candidate is an action-oriented professional who works well with others and is capable of independent problem solving and multi-tasking.

You must be able to work in a collaborative, fast-moving, and ambiguous environment while managing time effectively and be willing to lead a task or project to completion. Details of Starting Pay:
At Guided Fitness, you set your own price and packages, we have our recommendations for your success, below are conservative income estimates to expect initially as you grow your clientele: $50/hr. per class commission $25/hr. for company-supported functions in communities At Guided Fitness, all of our group instructors also have the option of becoming a personal trainer. As a trainer, you set your own price and packages, we have our recommendations for your success, below are conservative income estimates to expect initially as you grow your clientele: 80% commission take-home for private coaching revenue ( ex. if your session rate is $60, you take home $50. Most clubs only pay trainers 50% of the price a client pays ) Increase in commission on private coaching revenue Increase in class pay with tenure Potential upward mobility into the role with Guided Fitness core team. As we grow we are aiming to promote current trainers and instructors to management roles to lead teams in our various communities across the nation.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities will include the following: Instructing, motivating, and assisting clients in a safe, legal, moral, ethical manner to achieve their goals. Conducting assessments of clients' health and current movement patterns. Keeping your Guided Fitness schedule up to date for clients to book sessions directly with you on the site. Following up with clients with detailed summaries, training plans and/or re-evaluating clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintaining constant communication with clients to ensure goals are being met. Partner with the employer to conduct various client engagement and educational activities and events, such as outdoor classes and community activities. Occasionally reporting various metrics to operations, such as attendance, engagement, outreach efforts, and activity level. Participating in program planning and development, as well as design and/or carrying out related research. Perform all aspects of the position held in a professional manner. Follow established policies and procedures of the company. Maintain professional credentials as required including attending necessary continuing education courses.

Qualifications:
Must have completed water safety training course (required) , ideal applicants may also hold a ACE, NSCA-CSCS or NASM Professional Liability Insurance (Required Upon Hire) CPR/AED Certification (Required) 2 Years of Personal Training/Swim Coaching experience Presentation skills in 1:1, small and large group settings Strong customer service skills were servicing the "client" is top priority Energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals Must be able to work independently with little daily supervision Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Physical Requirements:
Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday. Also, the physical requirements of this job require frequent walking around and demonstrating and assisting with exercise movements; bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and squatting is movements performed daily.
