Volleyball Coach (Head Coach & Floating Coach Opportunities)

Seasonal Contract (2026-2027 Club Season) Position Overview We are seeking dynamic, experienced coaches to lead and support teams across multiple age groups (12U-18U).

We are hiring:

Head Coaches (Team Leads for assigned age groups) Floating Coach (Program-wide support role) Our program is competitive, development-focused, and committed to preparing athletes for high-level play and college recruitment opportunities. Coaches will play a key role in shaping athlete performance, culture, and overall program success. Head Coach Responsibilities Plan and lead structured, high-level practices and training sessions Develop athletes' technical, tactical, and mental performance Manage all aspects of competition (lineups, rotations, in-game adjustments) Build team culture, accountability, and cohesion Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and club leadership Attend all scheduled practices, tournaments, and club events Collaborate with club leadership on player development pathways Floating Coach Responsibilities Provide on-court support across multiple teams during practices and tournaments Assist with skill development, positional training, and drill execution Step in to support teams during coach absences or scheduling gaps Offer specialized training (serving, defense, hitting, etc.) across age groups Help maintain consistency in coaching standards across the program Qualifications (All Coaches) Prior playing and/or coaching experience (club, high school, or collegiate level preferred) Strong knowledge of volleyball systems, techniques, and game strategy Ability to teach, motivate, and develop athletes of varying skill levels Professional, reliable, and team-oriented mindset Strong communication and leadership skills Must pass background check and complete SafeSport certification CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Compensation Competitive stipend based on role and experience Tournament travel accommodations Daily stipend during tournaments Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding club Why APEX Volleyball Club Competitive program focused on exposure, development, and results Strong leadership vision with long-term multi-sport expansion Opportunity to build and lead teams within a growing brand Collaborative coaching environment with room for advancement How to Apply Submit your resume inclusive of coaching experience and any additional information that you want known.
