MAJOR DUTIES

The Head Coach is responsible for developing responsibilities/expectations of the boys' basketball program in accordance with Washington County's policies and procedures. The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of basketball as it pertains to interscholastic athletics in Virginia.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have successful experience as a coach Must be able to implement a training program Must possess positive leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with administrators, parents, and students
