YOUTH SWIM TEAM COACH
LetSwim | Haymarket, VA | Part-Time | Up to $30/hour | Start Immediately Do you love swimming and enjoy helping young athletes build confidence, develop their skills, and reach their goals? LetSwim is looking for an experienced Youth Swim Team Coach to lead pre-team skill classes and school-age recreational swim practices in Haymarket, VA. Pay up to $30/hour Paid training and shadowing Flexible part-time hours Supportive, close-knit team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young swimmers Independent work environment Opportunities to grow with a growing swim program Responsibilities Lead pre-team skill classes and school-age recreational swim practices using the LetSwim curriculum following paid training and shadowing. Teach and reinforce proper stroke technique, endurance, conditioning, and swim skills. Motivate and inspire swimmers while creating a positive, encouraging team environment. Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging pool environment. Evaluate swimmers' skills and progress and provide appropriate feedback. Communicate effectively with parents regarding swimmer progress and areas for development. Use creativity and problem-solving skills to help swimmers overcome challenges and build confidence. Assist with onboarding and training new team members as needed. Participate in required trainings and in-service sessions. Assist with incident management and follow all safety procedures. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Experience coaching a summer, recreational, or club swim team required Strong swimming background and knowledge of competitive swim skills and techniques Experience working with school-age children Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated Positive, enthusiastic, and encouraging attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for teaching and helping children develop Willingness to learn and follow the LetSwim curriculum Ready to Join the LetSwim Team?
