Immediately Job Description Seeking qualified individuals to serve as head coaches and assistant coaches during the 2024-2025 Winter sports season. This extra-curricular activity is overseen by the Martinsville City Public Schools Athletic Director. These positions are currently open to internal applicants.

Closing Date:

Coaching Stipend:

Paid as a one-time stipend at the end of the sports season

Qualifications:

Knowledge of the sport; special training preferred Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively with staff and administrators in the coordination of the program Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students and parents Ability to model and promote a culture of high expectations for academics and sportsmanship Experience working with diverse populations including students with disabilities and students who are English language learners Previous coaching experience preferred The following positions are included in this job posting: Middle School Basketball Cheerleading Head Coach Middle School Boys Basketball Head Coach Middle School Girls Basketball Head Coach Middle School Wrestling Head Coach Middle School Wrestling Assistant Coach Middle School EMT
