Immediately Job Description Seeking qualified individual to serve as head coach during the 2017-2018 Fall sports season. This extra-curricular activity is overseen by the Martinsville City Public Schools Athletic Director. This position is currently open to internal and external applicants.

Coaching Stipend:
Paid as a one-time stipend at the end of the sports season
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the sport; special training preferred Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively with staff and administrators in the coordination of the program Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students and parents Ability to model and promote a culture of high expectations for academics and sportsmanship Experience working with diverse populations including students with disabilities and students who are English language learners Previous coaching experience preferred
