  • 8 to 10 hours per week About SixFour3 SixFour3 is a female-focused sports performance brand built to give girls and young women the training environment they deserve.
From the weight room to the softball field, we combine sport-specific development with strength and conditioning to help female athletes become stronger, faster, more confident, and better prepared for their sport. We are building something that has not been done here: a real weightroom with real standards, built specifically for the female athlete looking to take her performance to the next leve.. What you will do Coach group strength classes of up to 12 athletes, delivering the program as written Teach and hold technique standards on the squat, hinge, lunge, press, pull, and landing patterns Run check-in and check-out, log attendance and athlete notes, verify athlete logbooks Spend part of your week on programming review and athlete or team outreach within your coaching hours What we are looking for Certified or in progress toward CSCS, NSCA-CPT, USAW, ACSM, or equivalent, and current or pursuing kinesiology, exercise science, or a related degree CPR/AED and First Aid current, or willing to obtain before your first shift Coaching experience preferred, ideally with youth or female athletes, but not required for the right person You take teenage girls seriously as athletes, and it shows in how you run a room Must pass a background check before your first shift Pay and schedule $30/hour, 8 to 10 hours per week. Hours are a mix of coaching sessions and supporting work like programming and outreach, so the job is not limited to time on the floor. We build the schedule around your availability where we can, weekday afternoons and evenings and/or weekend mornings. Why this job Programming is done for you. You focus on coaching and building relationships with athletes Small classes. You actually coach, instead of managing a crowd Ongoing professional development from our Director of Strength and Conditioning Growing organization with real room to move into more hours or a lead role How to apply Send your resume and a short note about how you coach. Not a cover letter, just talk. If you have video of yourself coaching, include it. We would rather watch you cue a squat than read ten paragraphs.
