Job Description
Assistant High School Boys Lacrosse CoachBFA Fairfax is seeking an Assistant High School Boys Lacrosse Coach to support the varsity boys lacrosse program. The assistant coach will work closely with the head coach to provide a positive, competitive, and developmentally appropriate experience for student-athletes.
Responsibilities include: Assist the head coach with planning and conducting practices, games, and team activities.
Provide instruction in lacrosse fundamentals, skills, strategy, and team concepts.
Support the development of student-athletes at all ability levels.
Help promote sportsmanship, teamwork, accountability, and positive representation of BFA Fairfax.
Assist with game-day preparation, equipment, supervision, and other program responsibilities as assigned by the head coach.
Maintain appropriate communication and professional relationships with student-athletes, families, coaches, officials, and school staff.
Follow all BFA Fairfax, Franklin West Supervisory Union, and VPA policies and expectations.
Complete all required coaching certifications and trainings prior to participation.

Qualifications:
Previous lacrosse playing or coaching experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, knowledge of the sport, and a commitment to creating a positive experience for high school student-athletes.Benefits
