- Foster a positive, inclusive team culture where community and competitive growth coexist.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor assistant coaches and volunteers.
- Work closely with the KCRC Board of Directors on program planning, staffing needs, and long-term club growth.
- Communicate clearly with athletes, families, coaches, and club leadership regarding expectations, schedules, progress, and goals. Safety, Operations, and Club Leadership

- Ensure proper use, storage, and care of club equipment and facilities.
- Communicate with board leadership regarding equipment maintenance, safety concerns, facility needs, and operational issues. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the club, high school, collegiate, or comparable level.
- Strong technical knowledge of both sweep and sculling.
- USRowing Level 2 certification or higher, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Current SafeSport, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, athlete-centered coaching.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with athletes, families, coaches, volunteers, and board leadership. Preferred Qualifications
