Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Youth Football Assistant Coach to join our team! In this paid role, you will support the head coach in delivering engaging football training sessions, fostering teamwork, and ensuring a positive experience for young athletes. Responsibilities Assist in planning and conducting football practices tailored to different age groups and skill levels Support the head coach in teaching fundamental football techniques, rules, and sportsmanship Promote a safe environment by monitoring players' behavior and managing group activities effectively Encourage teamwork, discipline, and confidence among young athletes during training sessions and games Help organize equipment, set up drills, and ensure all safety protocols are followed Communicate with parents or guardians regarding player progress and team events as needed Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that motivates children to participate actively and develop their skills Skills Experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education preferred Background in football or related sports such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or martial arts like karate or judo Prior childcare or working with students experience highly desirable Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support positive conduct on and off the field Lifeguard experience or familiarity with swimming is a plus for safety awareness during outdoor activities Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, patience, and clear communication skills Passion for youth development, sportsmanship, and fostering teamwork Join us to help shape confident young athletes while building your coaching skills in a vibrant community setting!
