Job Description

We are hiring for a Head Boys Swim Coach for the 2026-27 Season Manitowoc Lincoln is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Coach for our High School Boys Swim program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing student-athletes both in and out of the pool, fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while building a competitive and inclusive program. Essential Job Functions Plan, organize, and conduct effective practices and game strategies Develop players' swim skills, physical conditioning, and sport specific knowledge Promote academic success, character development, and leadership among student-athletes Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants Coordinate meet schedules, travel arrangements, and team communications Work collaboratively with assistant coaches, school staff, and parents Maintain compliance with school, district, and WIAA policies Manage equipment, uniforms, and program budget responsibly Oversee youth development in partnership with elementary and middle school coaches Qualifications Previous coaching experience (high school or higher preferred) Strong knowledge of swim fundamentals and team strategy Ability to motivate and mentor high school students Excellent communication and organizational skills Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) Background check clearance as required by the district Teaching certification or experience working in an educational setting Experience developing youth athletes and building team culture Commitment to creating an inclusive team environment
