Athletic Director Position Summary Waunakee Community School District is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dance Team Head Coach to lead and support our student dance team. This individual will be responsible for developing students' technical skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment while representing our district. Responsibilities Plan and lead regular practices, focusing on technique, choreography, and performance skills Choreograph routines for performances, competitions, and school events Supervise student-athletes during practices, performances, and travel Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among participants Ensure compliance with district, conference, and WIAA guidelines Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff Coordinate uniforms, music, and competition logistics as needed Qualifications Prior dance experience required; coaching or teaching experience preferred Knowledge of dance techniques and choreography development Strong organizational and communication skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Compensation Stipend based on district salary schedule and experience
