Basketball Full Job Description Anticipated Start Date:

November 9, 2026

Anticipated Hours:

3:30 PM

• 6:30

PM Please Note:

Coaches will be required to complete the NFHS "Fundamentals of Coaching" course within the first year.

Required:

• Previous playing and/or coaching experience
• Ability to organize practice and game strategy
• Mentor and instruct individuals and team development
• Provide a fun, enthusiastic learning environment
• Supervise and direct daily practices
• Develop skill sets and improvement in individual and team play
• Knowledge of the sport
• Strong communication skills
• with students at practices, with parents about travel times, expectations, etc., administrator with practice times, travel, etc.
• Supervise and mentor students at practices and games or other athletic activities

Preferred:

• Licensed teacher/counselor
