Responsibilities Lead swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to different skill levels and age groups Ensure the safety of all participants by monitoring water activities and enforcing safety protocols Provide clear, constructive feedback to help students improve their swimming techniques and water confidence Maintain a clean, organized pool area and ensure all equipment is in proper working order Communicate effectively with clients and parents about progress, safety guidelines, and upcoming classes Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid, CPR, AED operation, and other lifesaving skills as needed Foster a fun, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth Requirements Previous lifeguard experience or certification (including AED operation and CPR/First Aid) is highly preferred Strong swimming skills with experience in various strokes and water safety techniques Experience working with children or in childcare settings demonstrating patience and excellent behavior management skills Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and team members confidently Proven leadership abilities through team sports or coaching roles in sports teams or clubs Knowledge of health club or gym environments is a plus but not required Join us to empower learners through engaging swim instruction while developing your coaching skills!
