Part Time | $12-$40 per hour based on coaching skill and experience Champion Training Academy (CTA Highflyers) in Morgantown, WV is looking to add gymnastics and tumbling instructors to our coaching team. We are interested in applicants at multiple experience levels, from developing instructors who want to learn and grow to highly experienced gymnastics/tumbling coaches with advanced technical and spotting abilities. Our Pay Structure Compensation is based on your knowledge, coaching experience, teaching ability, and level of skills you can safely instruct and spot. Entry level and developing instructors may begin around $12-$15/hour, while experienced coaches with intermediate and advanced gymnastics/tumbling knowledge may earn significantly more. Highly qualified advanced instructors may earn up to $40/hour. There is opportunity for increased compensation as your coaching and spotting capabilities grow. What We're Looking For Ideal candidates may have experience in gymnastics, tumbling, cheerleading, acrobatics, or a related athletic discipline. Depending on experience, responsibilities may include: Teaching recreational gymnastics and/or tumbling classes Working with beginner, intermediate, or advanced athletes Teaching proper technique and skill progressions Safely spotting skills appropriate to your demonstrated training level Providing corrections and drills that help athletes progress Maintaining a positive, structured, and safety focused class environment Communicating effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaches Continuing to develop your own coaching and spotting knowledge We Are Especially Interested in Experienced Coaches Who Can Independently run gymnastics or tumbling classes Recognize and correct technique Develop athletes through appropriate skill progressions Safely spot intermediate and/or advanced skills Work with athletes of different ages and ability levels Bring strong gymnastics fundamentals and technical knowledge to our program Don't have advanced coaching experience yet? We are also interested in motivated candidates who have a gymnastics, tumbling, cheerleading, dance, or athletic background and want to develop into strong instructors. Training and advancement opportunities are available. Compensation $12-$40 per hour Starting rate is determined by demonstrated experience, coaching knowledge, spotting ability, certifications, and the level of athletes/classes the instructor is qualified to teach.
