Position Summary:
The Caver College of Aviation, Science, and Nursing at Henderson State University invites applicants for a tenure track position in Mechanical Engineering at the rank of assistant professor to begin January 2027. Henderson State University is located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, a charming, family-centered community of 11,000 residents situated one hour south of Little Rock, Arkansas on Interstate 30. Nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, the community is home to two universities, a strong public school system, a thriving medical community, two recreational rivers, the iconic Lake DeGray, and is approximately 30 miles from historic Hot Springs National Park, one of the great American treasures. Duties & Responsibilities:
Teaching engineering and physics courses at all undergraduate levels Student mentoring Curriculum development and assessment in support of accreditation Senior project supervision Community industry engagement University service.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a PhD in mechanical engineering, or a related field at time of the appointment. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position.
