  • Qualifications:
  • + Trauma Surgery fellowship training + BC or BE in Surgical Critical Care + Eligible for unrestricted Arizona medical licensure + Active publications within the past three years + Active professional society membership + Demonstrated clinical, scholarly, and teaching ability + Interest in research development and leadership + Collaborative professional conduct

  • Clinical Scope:
  • This is an adult-only program with a busy and expanding service line, covering the following areas: Trauma Surgery & Acute Care Surgery | Trauma Surgery ICU (TSICU) | Outpatient Trauma Clinic | Growing Elective Surgery Volume
  • Responsibilities:
  • + Emergency, Trauma, and TSICU call coverage (backup call included within shift obligation) + Elective surgery participation _(required)_ + ATLS instruction and teaching + Minimum
  • 50% attendance
  • at Trauma Executive Committee meetings + Mentorship of faculty, fellows, and residents + Active research publications and scholarly contributions supporting program verification
