Position description The University of California, Irvine, Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking a qualified candidate as a full-time faculty member in the non-tenure track Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series at the Assistant rank. Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will be expected to have an unrestricted medical license from the Medical Board of California; graduated from an ACGME accredited residency training program in Neurological Surgery at the time of start; have experience and training in complex cranial neurosurgery and neuro-oncology. Candidates with an additional Ph.D. degree in biology related fields and specific focus of interest in immunotherapy and brain tumors are preferred. The successful candidate will have a track record of creativity and productivity, demonstrated potential for outstanding future achievement, and desired participation in an exciting, collaborative, and rapidly growing brain tumor immunology program at UCI.
