The School of Business, home of the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of California, Riverside, invites applications for full-time Assistant Professor of Teaching in Operations and Supply Chain Management with an expected start date of July 1st, 2027. Individuals with these titles are members of the Academic Senate and are actively engaged with the faculty of the department, serving through teaching, professional activity, and service. Associate and Full Professor of Teaching have the Security of Employment (the equivalent of tenure). These appointments are similar to clinical professor appointments at other universities, but they have potential of security of employment. We seek candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching and course development and interest in program administration and teaching-oriented academic research. We are interested in candidates with strength in teaching in all areas of Operations and Supply Chain Management, but especially areas such as business analytics, AI, machine learning, and data science. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Operations Management or in a relevant discipline. New Ph.D. candidates must have completed all Ph.D. requirements prior to appointment. Candidates are expected to teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels. An appointee in this series will have a teaching load of 6 courses per academic year, with the equivalent of 3 courses worth of time devoted to scholarly activity and service.
