Job Description

The Department of Biology at California State University San Bernardino invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Biology with research expertise in medical microbiology and immunology , to begin August 2027. The successful candidate will be expected to apply for extramural funding, conduct and publish research in medical microbiology and immunology, and employ laboratory and/or field research involving undergraduate and Master's students. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to service and shared governance to the department, college, and university. Furthermore, the successful candidate will participate in the development of a pre-Clinical Laboratory Science certificate program. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in biology or a related field; postdoctoral experience is highly desired.
