This job posting is being provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for this job opportunity, and any person may provide documentary evidence bearing on the application to the Certifying Officer of the Department of Labor. An Application for Permanent Employment Certification, ETA Form 9089, with the U.S. Department of Labor for the position of Assistant Professor with the Department of Agriculture and Resource Economics. The position was advertised in national professional publications, and the incumbent was selected pursuant to a competitive recruitment and selection process. Full time tenure track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Agriculture and Resource Economics at University of Connecticut in Storrs. We seek candidates with a research focus on food marketing, consumer behavior, agribusiness management, supply and demand analysis, trade, and/or empirical industrial organization. Duties include teaching courses, advising undergraduates, and mentoring graduate students, and developing an internationally recognized research program.

Minimum requirements:

a doctorate in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or a related field. The University of Connecticut is an AA/EEO Employer.
