) The Department of Economics at Emory University invites applications for a faculty position in Econometrics and AI Policy at the (advanced) Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, beginning August 1, 2027. We welcome candidates whose research connects econometric methods with artificial intelligence, economic policy, digital markets, innovation, or the economic consequences and regulation of emerging technologies . Expertise in teaching Artificial Intelligence, Economic Policy, Emerging Technologies, and Innovation Policy will be essential. The Department of Economics has experienced significant growth in both size and reputation over the past decade and continues to build toward becoming one of the leading departments in the country. The successful candidate must have a Ph. D. in Economics or related fields; a distinguished record of scholarly achievement, demonstrated by publications in leading journals; an active research agenda; and a strong record of teaching excellence and mentorship at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Salary is competitive.
