Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY.
Loras College invites applications for an adjunct faculty member to teach BUS346 Advertising/Marketing Communication for the Spring 2027 semester, which begins on January 4th.
THE CLASS. BUS346
Advertising/Marketing Communication introduces students to advertising and marketing communication's role as a vital tool in the distribution of goods and services. It is structured to meet the needs of those wishing to secure a solid foundation for further work in the field as well as aiding those who seek a basic knowledge of the place of advertising/marketing communication in business and social environments. The course is delivered in-person on the Loras College campus and is scheduled for 9:00-9:50 on MWF. The successful faculty member will be expected to rigorously and actively engage students in the learning experience. The course is taken primarily by Marketing majors but will also include students from PR/Strategic Communication, Creative Media, and Business Administration.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.
At a minimum, a Master's degree in Marketing, an MBA, or a master's degree in a related field is required. Experience in the field is highly preferred. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
