Adjunct Faculty:
Introduction to Humanities opening. We are seeking instructors to contribute to our dynamic academic programs. This is for one online class taught during the Spring 2027 semester. About Sauk Valley Community College Located in rural northwestern Illinois, along the scenic Rock River between the cities of Dixon and Sterling, SVCC offers a unique and welcoming teaching environment. https://www.svcc.edu/employees/opportunities/benefits.html The Adjunct Faculty member is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and reports directly to the Dean of Transfer Programs (or appropriate Academic Dean, depending on discipline). To be mindful of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses. Deliver engaging and effective classroom, lab, or clinical instruction tailored to the specific discipline. Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success. We are seeking dedicated educators committed to student achievement.
Education:
A Master's degree in the discipline or Master's degree in relevant field and at least 18 earned graduate credit hours in the discipline.
Experience:
Prior experience teaching in a community college environment is preferred.
