Job Description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Bradley University is accepting applications for an in-residence position at the assistant professor level starting August 2026. Applicants should have an earned degree in electrical engineering. Preference will be given to candidates in the general area of power electronics and electromechanical system, with strong experimental background, proficiency with power electronics, alternative energy, electromechanical system, digital instrumentation, and data acquisition. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and undergraduate instructional laboratories, and excellent communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MS
in Electrical Engineering Expertise in Electromechanical system, power electronics Experimental background Expertise in digital instrumentation Excellent communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(desired but not required) BS in Mechanical Engineering Experience in teaching Industrial experience
