Job Description

The Management and Leadership Department of Bradley University's AACSB accredited Foster College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management position effective Fall 2027. We seek applicants with teaching and research interests related to strategic management. Teaching responsibilities are primarily in strategic management, including the undergraduate senior business capstone, but may also include principles of management, organizational theory, organizational effectiveness, or other areas of management as needed. The position may involve teaching both in-person and online undergraduate and graduate courses. Commitment to and evidence of outstanding teaching, strong publication potential, and a focused research agenda are required. Faculty are expected to maintain a high level of professional activity through scholarly research and service. Competitive candidates will have a doctorate in management or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited school; ABDs will be considered. The Foster College of Business creates ideas that advance business thought and practice, provides experiential learning that develops leaders who will enrich the world, and serves as a valued partner for business and society. Located in the newly constructed 200,000 square foot Business and Engineering Convergence Center, the Foster College offers unique opportunities for collaboration and convergence between Bradley's business and engineering colleges. Accredited by the AACSB, the Foster College of Business offers exceptional teaching, small class sizes, and requires all students to participate in experiential learning.
