Position Description:
Apply Position Description The Department of Mathematics at Kansas State University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin Fall 2026. The term of appointment is one academic year, potentially renewable, subject to job performance and budgetary constraints. Applicants should have completed their Ph.D. in mathematics or a related area by Summer 2026 and should already have authorization to work in the United States before the start of employment. The Department of Mathematics seeks candidates with outstanding records of undergraduate mathematics teaching and excellent research potential in areas that will complement the research of the permanent faculty. The load is two-two for the academic year and may require engagement in the summer activities of the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in mathematics or a related area (by hire date)
Sponsorship Eligibility:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
