Assistant & Associate Professor The Jackson Laboratory United States, Maine, Bar Harbor 600 Main Street (Show on map) Sep 08, 2026 The Jackson Laboratory is inviting applications for Assistant and Associate Professors at The Jackson Laboratory for Mammalian Genetics campus in Bar Harbor, Maine. We are seeking faculty pursuing multi-disciplinary approaches in the following general research areas: Aging and age-related diseases

Systems immunology

Computational biology The Jackson Laboratory (JAX; www.jax.org) is an independent, nonprofit biomedical research institution. Faculty research focuses ongenetic and genomic approaches to conduct basic and translational research on fundamentalbiological questions and associateddiseaseprocesses. The Jackson Laboratory is well-known for its deep expertise and innovation in mouse and humanmodels and researchers have the opportunity to combine these approaches with state-of-the-art, highly subsidizedand professionally managed, shared scientific servicesand robust data science initiatives to support the ongoing work in our laboratories. Successful candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree; have two to five years of postdoctoral training; have a record of significant research accomplishments; and present long-term research goals consistent with establishing and/or maintaining a highly successful research program.

Pay Range Assistant Level:

129,759 - 158,955

Associate Level:

155,239 - 194,048
