Description:
The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Colby College seeks applicants for a one-year visiting assistant professor position in Japanese during the 2027-2028 academic year. The successful applicant will teach four Japanese language classes, two in the fall semester and two in the spring semester, at a range of levels. The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,700 to $69,700, commensurate with rank, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Colby is a private, coeducational liberal arts college that admits students and makes personnel decisions on the basis of the individual's qualifications to contribute to Colby's educational objectives and institutional needs.
