University of Nebraska at Omaha Assistant/Associate Professor, Schoolof Public Administration The Schoolof PublicAdministration (SPA), University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), seeks applicantsfor a tenure-track faculty position at the rank ofAssistant/AssociateProfessor with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management, beginning January 2027 orAugust 2027. Candidates should hold a PhDin Public Administration, PublicAffairs, Public Policy, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. We seekcandidates who will makesignificant contributions to our doctoral and master'sprograms, rigorous research, and engagement with the vibrant nonprofit andphilanthropic community in Omaha. SPA has a vibrant, collaborativeacademic culture. It is home to one of the longest-accredited MPAprograms inthe country, offered both online and on campus. The MPA program is ranked amongthe top 15 percent and is ranked #6 in PublicBudgeting and Finance, #12 inLocal Government, and #26 in Nonprofit Management. In addition to the MPA, SPAis home to a PhD program inPublic Administration, a BS in EmergencyManagement, and several minors and certificates. We also have dual master's degreeswith SocialWork, Gerontology, Criminology & Criminal Justice, Health &Kinesiology, and Management Information Systems. We have an MPA concentrationinnonprofit management, and several doctoral students study this area. UNO isa Carnegie Doctoral Research University. About the
Position:
The successful candidate must beable to teach in-person and online courses in nonprofit management at themaster anddoctoral level and other electives in public or nonprofit managementor public policy; provide service on doctoral dissertation committees;and helpsupervise doctoral students teaching. The successful candidate must demonstratepromise of excellence in research and be committedto community engagement andprofessional service. The typical teaching load for research-productive facultyis two courses per semester.

On-campus presence is required.
