Raritan Valley Community College's Health Science Education department is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members who are committed to providing the best quality education possible to our students. Specifically, the college is seeking candidates interested in being adjunct faculty with expertise in: Phlebotomy Theory and Lab-Specimen Collection and Processing. RVCC offers courses during the day as well as the evening on our campus in Branchburg, New Jersey.
Essential Duties:
Teach all courses assigned, submit course documents, including syllabi and final grades, as required. Provide feedback to students and record grades in a timely manner using the Learning Management System and its gradebook. Submit attendance verification and progress reports, as directed. Comply with all college policies and requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure/Certification:
Must hold current professional licenses or certifications:
CCMA, RMA, CMA, CPT, RPT
preferred. Experience using technology and Learning Management Systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, video conferencing tools, and Canvas.
Curriculum Knowledge:
Must be current and competent in the specific MAERB Core Curriculum objectives assigned to their teaching.
Instructional Methodology:
Must possess documented education or training in educational theory, teaching techniques, or instructional methodology.
Professional Background:
Must have documented education or professional occupational experience directly related to their assigned content areas.
Credential Documentation:
Must maintain credentials, qualifications forms, and training records in an institutional faculty workbook or file reviewed by the Medical Assisting Education Review Board.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-years of college teaching experience in discipline.
