Description:
The Department of Economics at Denison University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the field of public economics starting August 2027. Strong candidates will demonstrate a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level and an appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of a small residential liberal arts institution, as well as a clear and active research agenda in the field of public economics. Primary teaching responsibilities will include an upper-level elective course in public finance; introductory and intermediate courses in microeconomic theory and/or econometrics; and additional policy-related elective courses in the candidate's area of expertise which complement the existing offerings of the department. The teaching load for this position is 5 courses per academic year. The Department of Economics at Denison has sixteen full-time faculty members who appreciate diverse approaches to economics.
