FULL-TIME, EXEMPT, SALARIED Lake Erie College, a small, co-educational, four-year, independent liberal arts college located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles east of Cleveland, invites applications for the full-time, tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Business Administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaches courses at the undergraduate level across the school of business curriculum with an emphasis on lower-level courses. Teaches additional business-related courses in areas of qualification and interest. Aids in the development of curriculum to expand School of Business offerings. Participates in department-level planning and development activities. Develops professional networks, including community and institutional relationships, to form partnerships and enhance internship and experiential learning opportunities for students as well as potential job opportunities. Provides academic and career advising of students. Provides instruction at the undergraduate level using collaborative, instructional technology, and innovative methods. Provides assessment of students and supports College assessment needs. Continues expanding knowledge base with continued professional development. Provides general service to the College, including college and faculty committee assignments. Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES

Doctorate in Business Administration (or closely related field like Management). ABD and Master's (with experience) considered. In-person teaching required. College level teaching experience. Industry experience a plus. Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts college environment. Growth mindset and institutional teamwork ethic. Creative, strategic, and thoughtful.
