Full-time, nine-month, Assistant or Associate Professor of Management or General Business. Salary, based on qualifications and experience, is determined by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and University President and approved by the Regional University System of Oklahoma (RUSO).

Northwestern Oklahoma State University is a state-assisted regional institution in the Oklahoma System of Higher Education and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The student population is approximately 2,000 students. Located in Alva, Oklahoma, and with additional campus locations in Enid and Woodward, the university is a center of activity for the region. The Division of Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be based on the Northwestern Alva campus, teaching courses on site. We seek a qualified candidate to join a division of nine faculty members committed to teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. The successful candidate will demonstrate a capacity for collegial collaboration and will contribute to the continued growth of the division's programs through active engagement in program promotion and student recruitment. Teaching responsibilities will be based on the applicant's degree and graduate hours earned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Division of Business standard teaching load consists of 12/12 credit hours of undergraduate and graduate business courses during the regular fall and spring semesters with opportunities for overload compensation during the regular semesters and optional course loads in the summer. Additional responsibilities include advising, curriculum development, assessment of student learning, committee participation, student organizations/student competitions, ACBSP accreditation, and community involvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
DBA or a PhD in Management from an accredited university. Preference will be given to candidates with previous university teaching experience, a strong academic background, and experience as a corporate manager or business owner. Prior experience with online teaching and online course development is desirable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA from an accredited university
- ACBSP qualified in Management or General Business
- Business experience
- Experience teaching at a post-secondary institutional level
