$112,500 - $187,500 The School of Engineering at Tufts University invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions as part of the Tufts Epsilon Materials Institute ( TEMI ). Outstanding candidates at the Associate Professor rank will also be considered. TEMI is a recently-established collaborative partnership between Tufts University and Epsilon Group, an industrial leader in advanced carbon materials for batteries and other applications. TEMI seeks to address global challenges in energy and sustainability through breakthrough materials research. Applicants with expertise in computation, synthesis, characterization, and manufacturing of advanced materials for energy applications are highly encouraged to apply. Areas of particular interest include but are not limited to the use of artificial intelligence across material lifecycle, including novel materials discovery, AI-integrated self-driving laboratories, and AI-driven manufacturing and scaling of material processing.
