Sep 03, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Interventional Cardiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Additional advanced fellowship training in structural heart disease or complex coronary/chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions is highly desired. Teaching responsibilities may include educating medical students, residents, cardiovascular fellows and advanced practice providers. Selected candidates will be expected to contribute to the educational mission of the organization. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching. Clinical responsibilities may include the development of an outpatient clinical practice as well as attending on the inpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and associated practice sites.
