Job Description

Assistant Professor of Biology (Genetics, Molecular Biology) Tenure-track position available beginning Fall 2027. Ph.D. in the biological sciences expected, though strong ABD candidates will be considered. Instruction will contribute to a variety of strategic priorities for the college, including the Biology major, health sciences programming, and a new pre-genetics counseling concentration. This includes courses in genetics, molecular biology, immunology, bioinformatics, and upper-level courses in the candidate's area of expertise. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong commitment to teaching and a research program that incorporates undergraduates. The teaching load is twelve credits per semester (fall and spring). The successful candidate will join a Biology Department with excellent teaching and laboratory facilities, inclusive of modern molecular biology equipment. Please submit one
