Assistant/Associate Professorof Construction Management King's College seeks a faculty member to contribute to thedelivery and development of its new Bachelor of Science in ConstructionManagement, beginning Fall 2027. Rank isassistant- orassociate-level, depending on experience and record ofachievement. For tenure-track, Ph. D. isrequired. For non-tenure/technicalprofessorstatus, master's degree and industry experience is required.
Responsibilities may include the following:
(1) teaching undergraduatecourses specific to the Construction Management major, including Intro toConstruction Management, Construction Law and Contracts,Construction Safety,Estimating and Cost Control, Construction Technology, and Senior Capstone; (2)leading curriculum development; (3)coordinating efforts for ABET and ACCEprogram accreditation; (4) engaging in research opportunities suitable forundergraduate majors; and(5), engaging in service, scholarship, and studentadvisement. The teaching load is 12credits per semester (fall and spring), and thesuccessful candidate willsupport the mission and identity of the College. Requirements. For tenure-track,Ph. D. in ConstructionManagement, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or aclosely related field. For non-tenure-track,master's degree in ConstructionManagement or closely related field, with 3+years of relevant industry experience. Preferencewill be given to candidates with prior,relevant college-level teachingexperience and professional industry experience.
