The College of Agriculture includes 18 full-time tenured/tenure track faculty, 16 full or part-time lecturers, and approximately 825 undergraduate students. The college offers programs leading to Bachelor of Science degrees in Agricultural Science (options in Agricultural Science and Education and Agricultural Communications and Leadership), Agricultural Business, Animal Science (options in Food Animal Production and Pre-Veterinary Science), and Plant and Soil Sciences (options in Crops and Horticulture and Regenerative Agriculture). The Animal Science program has over 450 majors and is currently the eighth-largest major at the university. The faculty represents a wide range of interests, and the hallmark of our program is an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to undergraduate education. Central to this approach is the incorporation of our 800-acre University Farm and 240 acres of native rangeland. Animal enterprises include beef, organic dairy, sheep, swine, and a USDA-inspected meats facility.
