Assistant/Associate Professor of Large Animal Medicine and Surgery Lincoln Memorial University - College of Veterinary Medicine Harrogate, Tennessee Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Large Animal Medicine and Surgery . This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian with an interest and expertise in large animal medicine and surgery to join a growing veterinary medical program dedicated to preparing the next generation of veterinarians. The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching and advancement of large animal medicine and surgery within the College of Veterinary Medicine and will work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, staff, and students to support the mission of LMU-CVM. Responsibilities Provide instruction in large animal medicine and surgery through lectures, laboratories, small-group discussions, seminars, and clinical teaching assignments. Participate in the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of courses and academic programs within LMU-CVM. Assist in the coordination and continued development of large animal surgery programs of study. Develop course content, learning objectives, instructional materials, and assessments. Evaluate student performance and maintain appropriate academic records. Promote an environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, professional development, academic excellence, and respect. Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and University leadership. Participate in faculty meetings, committees, accreditation activities, institutional reporting, and other service responsibilities. Support and advance the mission of Lincoln Memorial University and the College of Veterinary Medicine. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Veterinary medical degree (DVM or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in large animal surgery and/or specialty board certification is highly desirable. Demonstrated interest in veterinary medical education and the development of future veterinarians. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
