The adjunct faculty member collaborates with course faculty and program leadership to facilitate student learning, evaluate student performance, and contribute clinical expertise to support achievement of program and course outcomes. This position reports directly to the Program Director and supports the academic mission of the School of Nursing through excellence in teaching, mentorship, and student engagement. The ideal candidate is a clinically competent and student-focused nursing professional who is passionate about developing the next generation of nurses. This individual demonstrates excellence in nursing practice, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering student success in both classroom and clinical environments. This role offers an opportunity to shape future nurses through meaningful teaching and mentorship while maintaining engagement in professional nursing practice. Adjunct faculty play a critical role in advancing the School of Nursing's mission to prepare competent, compassionate, and practice-ready nursing professionals who serve the healthcare needs of Texas and beyond.
