Job Description

Description The Department of Neuroscience & Experimental Therapeutics (NExT) in the Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine at Texas A&M University College of Medicine seeks to fill one (1) Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position for a full time, 11-month appointment with an anticipated start date in the fall of 2026. Applications will be accepted at the rank of Assistant Professor, commensurate with qualifications. As a tenure-track assistant professor, faculty are responsible for teaching, research, and service. The ideal candidate's research program will fill a critical knowledge gap that will complement existing research strengths in the department (see http://medicine.tamhsc.edu/next/faculty/index.html), with novel in vivo behavioral and sleep recording, electrophysiological, flow cytometry technologies that will enable the candidate and department to be competitive for extramural funding.
