Responsibilities include establishing a vigorous, externally fundable research program; mentoring and supervising undergraduate and graduate research students; and delivering excellent, engaging instruction in courses aligned with the candidate's expertise. The successful candidates will contribute to the department's ACS -certified B.S. in Chemistry, B.S. in Forensic Chemistry, and M.S. in Chemistry programs through undergraduate and graduate instruction, thesis advising, and graduate student recruitment. Educational Requirements for the Position Ph.D. in Chemistry. Experience Required for the Position We seek physical chemists, inorganic chemists, and multidisciplinary chemists whose expertise complements the department's existing programs and expands opportunities for research and instruction.
