DESCRIPTION
: East Texas Baptist University invites applications for a full-time, career-track position in Finance. The positionbegins August 2026 and will include teaching 24 to 30 credit hours per year, participation in departmental meetings and review, contributionto curriculum development, and student advising duties.DUTIES :
Teach up to 15 credit hours per academicsemester (30 total for the academic year) Maintain up to date attendance, submit grades, rosters, and respond in a timely mannerto students Provide students with sufficient feedback to promote learning Maintain communication with the Fred HaleSchool of Business Develop instructional materials Instruct college students in Finance discipline Guide classdiscussions Serve as Academic Advisor to assigned studentsQUALIFICATIONS
: ETBU seeks a qualified individualwith a terminal degree in Finance. Applicants nearing completion of their doctorate may be considered. Candidates should have teachingexperience and a record of professional involvement. Candidates must have a strong commitment to academic scholarship and teaching, as wellas the ability to communicate well with students and colleagues. Candidates must possess an appreciation and commitment to teach inChristian higher education through the integration of biblical faith and learning.Education/Certification :
Minimumqualifications include an earned doctorate degree and 18 hours in Finance.Experience:
Candidates must have a strongcommitment to teaching, as well as the ability to communicate well with students and colleagues in a Face-to-Face and online context.Candidates must possess a commitment to the integration of biblical faith and learning.
