Accordingly, if you will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status this moratorium may affect our ability to employ you should you be selected as the final candidate. ______________________________________________________________________________ The College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) is inviting applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track Research Assistant/Associate Professor position in Quantitative Genetics, with a focus on small ruminant genetics or data science. This position is 100% research-oriented and offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Continued employment will be contingent upon meeting research performance metrics, including securing external funding and demonstrating successful research outcomes. The successful candidate will lead a robust research program in quantitative genetics and data science, specifically focusing on milk and meat goat research. This role will contribute to the International Goat Research Center at PVAMU and foster interdisciplinary collaborations within CAFNR, including research in ruminant nutrition, reproduction, parasitology, and food science. This position is funded by a grant or restricted funds. Continued employment is contingent on the renewal of grant or restricted funding. The salary is determined in accordance with the University's compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates' education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.
