Posting Details Position Information Job Title Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics Position Number 998409 Department Physics & Geosciences Salary Commensurate Remote No Job Summary Angelo State University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics position in the Department of Physics and Geosciences beginning Spring 2027. This one semester faculty appointment carries a normal teaching load, with primary responsibility for teaching introductory physics and astronomy courses. Essential Duties Teach undergraduate astronomy and physics courses in traditional, online, and/or dual-credit formats Maintain effective teaching practices and contribute to the mission of the Department of Physics and Geosciences Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of current instructional practices, learner-centered teaching methods, assessment strategies, and student engagement techniques.
