Annual Salary:
KRW 50,000,000-75,000,000
before tax, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Exceptional candidates may be considered for a higher salary.

Rolling review until the position is filled. The Opportunity Woosong University invites applications for a Visiting Professor position in its Global Culinary Arts program. We seek an experienced culinary professional who can bring industry expertise into practical teaching. The successful candidate will teach culinary courses and serve as the dedicated faculty advisor for Starico, guiding students in their practical learning. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to culinary education in an international environment, with teaching responsibilities spanning café operations, à la carte preparation, world cuisine, and health-conscious cooking. About the Program Woosong University's Global Culinary Arts program combines European and Asian culinary traditions with hands-on skills development. Taught in English by an international faculty, the program prepares students for careers across the global culinary and food-service industries. Students study culinary techniques alongside business operations, restaurant management, communication, and customer service. Practical learning is supported by dedicated culinary, baking and pastry, and wine and barista training facilities. The program connects technical proficiency with creativity, adaptability, and an understanding of professional food-service environments.

Program Overview — English Program Overview — Korean Teaching Facilities — Korean Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Teach 20 credit hours per semester in culinary subjects. Serve as the dedicated faculty advisor for Starico, providing guidance and supervision for student practical learning. Required Qualifications An associate degree or higher in Culinary Arts. More than 10 years of professional field experience. The ability to teach in English. Preferred Qualifications Experience establishing or operating a business overseas. Potential Teaching Areas Teaching assignments may include the following courses, depending on program needs: Café Operations À la Carte Menu Preparation World Cuisine Health and Diet Cuisine Final course assignments will be determined by program needs.
Compensation and Benefits Salary:
KRW 50,000,000-75,000,000
annually before tax, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Exceptional candidates may be considered for a higher salary.
Housing:
Faculty housing may be provided, subject to availability.
Relocation Support:
Round-trip economy-class airfare reimbursement for faculty hired from outside the Republic of Korea.
Settlement Allowance:
KRW 100,000
per day for up to 15 days of early arrival before the appointment start date.
Vacation:
20 paid working days of annual leave per year.
