Adjunct Instructor - Hilbert Blueprint Program Hilbert College - 3.9 Hamburg, NY Job Details Part-time $2,500 a month 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree Full Job Description The Hilbert Blueprint Program has openings for each of its four courses and is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach in-person and/or online. BLU 101:
Foundations Seminar:
This course assists first-semester freshmen in their college transition, placing emphasis on academic skill building, wellness, community and belonging, and the college's Franciscan mission. BLU 151:
Public Speaking:
This course helps second-semester freshmen develop their voice through oral communication, with a common learning module on civil dialogue. BLU 201:
Service Learning and Civic Engagement:
This course, taken in the sophomore year, introduces students to the value of civic engagement and gives them the opportunity to design service projects that support a local community partner. BLU 301:
Junior Symposium:
This course, taken in the junior year, exposes students to current affairs on a global scale through a team-teaching model that highlights inter-disciplinary perspectives.
Requirements/Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Communications, English, History, Political Science, Sociology, or a related field. Prior college teaching experience in a General Education setting is preferred.

Hilbert College is able to hire candidates who reside in New York , Florida , Michigan , Wyoming , Ohio and West Virginia .
Compensation:
$2,500 for in-person undergraduate courses; $1,600 for online undergraduate 7.5 week courses.
