Job Description
Summary Barry University - Anesthesiology department seeks Adjunct Faculty Advisors to add to its Adjunct Faculty pool. The role of the DNP Project Advisor for Anesthesiology is to mentor DNP students in their scholarly project. They serve on the DNP Project Team in a collaborative and contributory process. This is a Hybrid position Essential Functions Collaborates with DNP Project Chair and students to contribute to scholarly project. The DNP Primary Advisors serves as the first reader and editor for students' submissions. Provides timely and accurate feedback for students to revise work for future publications. Assist the students with their oral presentations for dissemination in scholarly forums and assists with execution of other program deliveries Collaborates with Project Chairs to grade submissions utilizing rubrics provided via the learning management systems and via course syllabi. Qualifications/Requirements A Doctoral degree in Nursing, Nurse Anesthesiology, and or Medical Doctor is required. Maintain CRNA certifications and licensures to serve as DNP Project Advisors. 1-3 years of relevant experience
